In the event of an emergency, it is essential there is an evacuation plan in place for all of the staff and visitors that may be present in the building, regardless of their mobility. This includes those who may be restricted to a bed. Moving them could be detrimental to their health, but an escape route must be available.

Description:

• The Air Matress Evacuation Sheet is designed to be used with an alternating mattress, it turns the mattress into an evacuation sledge in an emergency, with straps and pockets to secure the patient when in use. For ease of use and convenience this is kept under the mattress at all times.
